In 2023 the 1st XI achieved promotion to the Kent Cricket League Championship and will be in the top 20 clubs in Kent in 2024. Captain George Davis starred with the bat amassing a giant 654 runs, including three centuries, whilst Phil Semmens led the way with the ball taking 28 wickets. Since 2008, the top side have won ten promotions with many of the current group being an integral part and having emerged from junior cricket. This continual integration of talented young cricketers has taken the club from a small village setup to one with a county-wide reputation for exciting cricket that it enjoys today. 2024 will present a new challenge for the side, facing clubs who will be fielding professionals and overseas players.
