The 2023 season will live long in the memory of the Leeds & Broomfield faithful. The side made it all the way to Lord’s as finalists in the National Village Cup for the first time in our history, narrowly losing by 10 runs to Milford Hall CC.

The road to Lord’s saw Leeds beat the best village teams from Kent, Surrey, Hertfordshire, Norfolk and Cornwall. Captain Ed Scrivens helped himself to over 330 runs and 15 wickets for the Sunday side. In 2024 we will start the journey again, hoping to go all the way. Away from the Cup, we will enter Division Two of the Kent Village Cricket League, providing an opportunity for ‘Skills Sunday’ and development of our junior players.
